Banks asked to freeze accounts of ex-home minister Asaduzzaman, his family

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has ordered all banks to freeze the accounts of former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan and his family members.

The BFIU sent a letter to all banks and financial institutions in this regard on Tuesday.

In the letter, the BFIU instructed the banks and financial institutions to halt all types of transactions from the personal or business accounts of Asaduzzaman Khan and his family members.
