BGB arrests ‘drug pedlar’ with 600 yaba pills in Jashore

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested an alleged drug pedlar along with 600 pieces of contraband yaba pills from Shibnathpur village in Jashore’s Benapole on Wednesday morning.

The arrestee was identified as Yanur Rahman, 35, son of Idrish Ali of the village, reports UNB.

Acting on secret information, a BGB team led by Camp Commander Harun-ur-Rashid conducted the drive in the area and arrested Yanur red-handed with the yaba pills, said Le Col Imran Ullah Sarkar, commander of BGB-21 Battalion.
