BGB destroys narcotics worth Tk 8om in C’Nawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Tuesday destroyed a huge quantity of narcotics worth an estimated Tk 80 million (Tk 8 crore) at a playground in Baroghoria market area under Sadar upazila in C’Nawabganj.

The items included 54,232 bottles of phensedyl, 2,539 bottles of liquor, 22kg heroin, 14kg hemp, and 27,502 yaba pills, BGB-53 and BGB-59 said in a joint statement.

BGB troopers seized the drugs from various parts of the district, reports UNB.
