Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested two alleged cattle smugglers along with Indian cattle in Nilphamari.
The arrestees are Joyen Uddin, 32, and Abdur Razzak, 18, of Domar upazila. They were detained from Bhogaburi bordering area of the upazila on Tuesday, UNB reported.
Sensing movement of two people in the bordering area during regular patrol, a team of BGB-56 challenged the duo and arrested them, said Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Kalam Azad, commanding officer of BGB-56.
A case was filed in this connection.
