BGB providing security at all puja mandaps

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has started working to provide security at all puja mandaps across the country including the capital on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja.

BGB personnel have been deployed at all 2,857 mandaps across the country.

Apart from providing security, the BGB has also strengthened its surveillance efforts to avert any untoward incidents during the puja that starts today (Sunday).

BGB's 430 platoon members will provide security at puja mandaps across the country including the capital.

BGB has set up 24 base camps across the country including frontier areas aiming to ensure safety and security during the festival in the country.
