Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Saturday recovered 52 kilograms of hemp from a pick up van at Bijoynagar of Brahmanbaria.
Acting on a tip-off, the BGB team of Mukundpur camp in Paharpur union, led by its Subedar Abul Hashem, seized the car along with the hemp.
According to BGB source, the peddlers ran away from the scene along with the driver sensing the presence of the police, reports UNB.
Officer in Charge of Bijoynagar Police Station Md Ali Arshad said a case was filed against six in the connection.
