Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay left Dhaka for Thimphu on Monday morning, concluding his two-day state visit to Bangladesh.

Foreign Adviser M. Touhid Hossain saw him off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, with the flight departing around 8:30 am, according to the Chief Adviser's Press Wing. Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin and Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam were also present.

Before his departure, the Prime Minister was honoured with a static guard of honour in line with state protocol.

During the visit, the two countries signed two Memoranda of Understanding — on healthcare services and internet connectivity. PM Tobgay also participated in bilateral talks with Bangladesh Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and held meetings with advisers, senior officials, and political leaders.
