Law Minister Anisul Huq has claimed that the highest number of loan defaulters was recorded during the BNP’s tenure, not under the Awami League government.
He made the statement while inspecting an under-construction bridge in Akhaura Upazila, Brahmanbaria on Friday.
During the inspection, Akhaura Upazila Chairman Sheikh Borhan Uddin Ahmed, Awami League General Secretary and Municipal Mayor Takzil Khalifa Kajal were also present.
