

The Fire Service and Civil Defence have recovered the body of a child cricketer found floating in a river in Chattogram.
The body was recovered from the Karnaphuli River in the Hamidchar area on Wednesday.
The boy was identified as 12-year-old Rahat Khan. He was a seventh grader at the Sanowara Boys High School in Chandgaon.
Rahat was a member of the Chattogram Brothers Union Junior Cricket Team, bdnews24.com reports.
According to the Chattogram Division Fire Service Control Room, the body was recovered from the river and handed over to the police.
Sub-inspector Abdul Quddus of Chandgaon Police Station said that the boy had gone missing the day before. "Today his body has been recovered."
Police are investigating who the boy left school with and where he went afterwards, the sub-inspector said.
