The Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2021 will remain open from 12 noon to 5 pm daily during the lockdown beginning from Monday.
Ministry of Cultural Affairs issued a notice to this effect on Sunday.
The notice said due to coronavirus current situation in the country, the book fair will remain open from 12 noon to 5 pm until further notice.
The notice also stressed maintaining health guidelines and avoiding gathering.
Earlier, on March 31, the authorities of Bangla Academy set the ending hour at 6:30 pm instead of 9 pm, due to current pandemic situation.
The country's largest book fair began from March 18 and according to the schedule, will continue until April 14 at the Bangla Academy premises and the adjacent Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital.
