Indian Border Security Force (BSF) last night reportedly pushed 11 individuals inside Bangladesh through Dhabalsuti
Gatiarvita border under Patgram upazila of the district, security and law enforcement officials said.
Nayek Subedar Abdul Matin, commander of BGB 61 Battalion's Dhanlasuti BOP (Border Outpost) camp, confirmed the matter of Indian nationals being pushed in and said they were handed over to the police, BSS reports.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patgram Police Station Mizanur Rahman said: "BGB has handed over 11 people to us at the police station. Among them, seven are women and four are children."
BGB and police are working to find out the overall information about those 11 people, legal action is under process, he added.
