Bus carrying 50 passengers plunges into Padma River at Daulatdia, casualties feared

A bus carrying more than 50 passengers has plunged into the Padma River at Daulatdia in Rajbari while attempting to board a ferry.

The accident occurred when the vehicle lost control near the dock and fell into the river, according to initial reports.

The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) has expressed fears of casualties following the incident.
