A man was killed after being hit by a bus on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Bathuli area of Dhamrai upazila on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Chandra Sutradhar, 45, a resident of Bhogobanpur village in Manikganj Sadar upazila, reports a news agency.
Alamgir Hossain, Sub-Inspector of Golra Highway police station, said the Paturia-bound 'Green Bangla' bus hit Dinesh around 8:00pm while he was crossing the road, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police seized the bus.
