Miscreants set a bus of “Itihash Paribahan” on fire at Kabirpur Bus Stand in Dhaka’s Ashulia ahead of BNP’s 36-hour road-rail-waterway blockade across the country starting Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported at 7:05 pm on Monday, said Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director of the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters (media cell).
On information, two units of the Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DPEZ) rushed to the spot and doused the fire, he added.
