Unidentified miscreants set fire to a Trust Transport Service bus while it was parked on Sagupta Road in the capital’s Pallabi area on Wednesday night.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, they received the fire report at 12:10 am on Wednesday. Two firefighting units from the Pallabi Fire Station rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be determined immediately, said Duty Officer Md Shahjahan from the Fire Service control room.
No casualties were reported in connection with the incident.
