CEC likely to address the nation Wednesday after meeting on polls schedule

Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal is likely to address the nation on Wednesday after a meeting of the commission on the schedule for the upcoming national election.

According to local news portals, the commission will hold the meeting on Wednesday afternoon.

As per the constitution, the 12th parliamentary election shall be held anytime within the last 90 days before January 29, 2024.
