A transport worker has been killed and another person injured as a covered van overturned after ramming into a truck at Bhangapul in Mirsarai Upazila in Chittagong on early Wednesday.
Inspector Rabiul Azam of Mirsarai Fire Station said, “the covered van overturned after hitting a Dhaka-bound truck from behind on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway”.
The dead worker has been identified as 25-year-old Md Ekram, a helper to the driver of the van, reports bdnews24.
Ronju, the van driver, was injured and rushed to the hospital soon after the incident.
