CID arrests YouTuber Tawhid Afridi over ‘murder’ during July Uprising

The Criminal Investigation Department of police has arrested YouTube content creator Tawhid Afridi in a murder case linked to the Anti-discrimination Student Movement.
A special team detained him in Barishal on Sunday.
Afridi is a suspect in the case filed at Jatrabari Police Station, where former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, former minister Obaidul Quader and former police chief Abdullah Al Mamun are the top three suspects.
His father, MyTV Chairman Nasir Uddin, another suspect in the case, was arrested by detectives on Aug 17. The case names 25 suspects, alongside 150 unidentified others.
