Classes at Milestone School and College in Diabari, Uttara, resumed today (Wednesday), 15 days after a Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crashed nearby.

Students of the college section (classes 9 to 12) returned to campus in the morning, and regular academic activities began at 8:30 am.

Earlier, on Sunday, students from the same section had come to campus, but no classes were held that day. Instead, they participated in a prayer and mourning ceremony arranged for the victims of the crash and for the speedy recovery of the injured in the incident.

On July 21, a Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crashed on the campus of Milestone School and College in Diabari. So far, 34 people—mostly children—have died in the incident, while many others with burn injuries remain hospitalised.
