Complaint filed against Hasina, nine others over ‘genocide’ during quota protests

A complaint has been filed with International Crimes Tribunal against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and nine other members of her ousted cabinet over allegations of killings, genocide and torture during anti-discrimination student movement from July 15 to August 5.

An application in this regard was filed at the office of investigation agency of the tribunal in Dhanmondi area of Dhaka on Wednesday. Advocate Gazi MH Tamim handed submitted the allegation to the coordinator of the investigation agency.

The petitioner also sought inclusion of Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League in the allegation.
