Police arrested a man along with fake currency notes worth Tk 130,000 from Shologhar in Chandpur district town on Thursday.
The arrestee was identified as Iqbal Hossain, 29, son of Makbul Ahmed of Char Kalmi village in Bhola district.
Tipped off, a team of police raided the house of Sobhan and arrested Iqbal along with fake currency notes of Tk 500 and Tk 1000 denominations worth Tk 130,000, said Rezaul Islam, inspector of Chandpur Model Police Station, UNB reported.
A case was filed.
