20th death anniv of Mostafijur Rahman observed

CHATTOGRAM, Dec 10: The 20th death anniversary of Alhaj Mostafijur Rahman, the founder of Mostafa Group, was observed in the port city on Wednesday.

To mark the day, a commemorative meeting was held at the head office of the Mostafa Group. Managing Director of the company Alhaj Jahir Uddin presided over the meeting.

Vice chairman Alhaj Shafique Uddin was present as the chief guest. Director of Mostafa Group Ashim Kumar Nandy, Major (Retd) Emdadul Islam, banker Asemul Haque Chowdhury, Advocate Kashem Kamal, General Manager of Mostafa Group Mojammel Haque, officials MA Chowdhury Kaisar, Advocate Iftekhar Mohammed Ashraf Foyej Jewel, Morshedul Karim Chowdhury, Aminul Islam, Md Osman Goni, Md Jamir Uddin, Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury and Faruk Uddin Chowdhury attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the speakers paid tributes to Alhaj Mostafijur Rahman. They said Alhaj Mostafijur Rahman was also the founder of many educational institutions, including colleges, schools and madrasas. His contributions to society have been immense and impactful.
