Bangladesh Navy in a drive on Friday rescued a young man, who had been abducted by miscreants on Thursday, at Boro Habir Para in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
The rescued victim was identified as Sabbir Ahmed.
According to an ISPR media release, some miscreants called Sabbir out of his home and took away around 10:00 pm on Thursday, as per a UNB report.
Being informed by Sabbir’s family members, a Bangladesh Navy team conducted a drive in the area and rescued him from a house in Boro Habir Para around 3 pm.
They also arrested two people, Halima Khatun and Munni Akhter from the house while the others managed to flee the scene.
Sabbir bore several injury marks in his body.
