A head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run autorickshaw claimed the lives of two people, including a woman, in Mymensingh on Saturday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Four other people were injured in the accident that took place around 11:00 am in the Alalpur area of the district, according to UNB.
Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Main Uddin confirmed the matter.
The injured were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Police seized the bus involved in the accident. However, the bus driver fled the scene, said the OC.
"Legal action will be taken in this regard," he added.
