Three people died and 20 others were injured after a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Brahmanbaria on Wednesday.
The accident took place on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Sarail upazila’s Boishamura area around 1:30 pm, said Md Hossain Sarker, chief of Khatihata Highway Police Station.
The dead are yet to be identified.
A Sylhet-bound bus operated by Ena Paribahan veered out of control and fell into a ditch, leaving three passengers dead on the spot, Hossain said, bdnews24 reported.
A fire service team has begun a rescue operation soon after the incident.
