Chattogram road crash leaves two dead

Two people were killed following a collision among a car, a microbus, and a parked CNG-run auto rickshaw at Panchlaish area in the port city early Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as car passenger Md Fardin, 18, son of Abul Bashar Milon of Nasirabad Batagoli area in the city and auto rickshaw driver Md Hanif, 40, son of Md Mostafa of Halishahar Brick Field area, reports UNB.

The collision took place when a microbus coming down from 'King of Chittagong' club hit a car which was going towards the club and the auto-rickshaw was standing on the road, leaving the duo critically injured, said Sub-inspector Jahirul Haque, in-charge of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) outpost.

Later, the injured were rushed to the hospital where the duty doctors declared them dead, Jahirul added.
