Chuadanga people advised to stay under shade, drink water

District Disaster Management Committee of Chuadanga in a meeting on Sunday advised the mass people to stay under shade from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The meeting was held at the Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) in the town this noon.    

With Deputy Commissioner Dr Kissinger Chakma in the chair, the meeting was addressed, among others, by district Fisheries Officer Dipak Kumar Pal, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension Bivash Chandra Saha, Livestock Officer Mostafijur Rahman and Sadar Upazila Health Officer Dr Auliyar Rahman.

The officers in the meeting suggested the people to drink plenty of fluids during the ongoing heat wave. They also urged the people to take care of their pets and livestock in this high temperature in the district.
