The decomposed body of a farmer was recovered from a field in the municipality area in Chhagalnaiya upazila in Feni on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir Alam, 39.
Quoting family members, police said relatives of Jahangir filed a general diary on June 13 as Jahangir went missing.
Police recovered the body in the morning as locals informed counsellor Mozaharul Islam Musa after seeing it at the nearby cropland, said Chhagalnaiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, reports UNB.
