Fire guts seven houses in Bagerhat

A fire broke out at Bagerhat’s in Fakirhat upazila burning out seven houses in Rudrakhali village on Wednesday.

Local people said the fire, originated from electric short circuit, broke out at the house of one Sushanto Biswas and soon engulfed the adjoining houses, UNB reports.

On information, a firefighting unit went to the spot and extinguished the blaze after two hours of frantic efforts, said deputy director of Bagerhat Fire Service and Civil Defense Station.
