At least seven shops were gutted in a fire at Arpara Bazar in Shalikha upazila in Magura early Tuesday.
Moniruzzaman, an officer at Magura Fire Service, said the fire broke out from an electric-short circuit around 2 am and burned down the seven shops, reports UNB.
On information, a fire-fighting unit rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flame.
