Three houses were gutted in a fire that broke out at Dakhshin Dashpaika village in Bishwanath upazila of Sylhet district on Friday afternoon.
Amir Ali, chairman of Daulatpur union, said that the fire broke out at the house of one Zarif Ali of the village around 4:00pm and engulfed adjoining two houses of his neighbours, reports UNB.
On information, a fire fighting unit went to the spot and extinguished the blaze with the help of locals.
