Forest department official has filed a case in connection with the death of two day labourers and a minor boy in a landslide at Rangunia upazila of Chittagong.
Golam Mostafa, beat officer of Department of Forest (North), filed the case with Rangunia Police Station on Saturday morning accusing six named people, said Imtiaz Ahmed Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of the Police Station.
The accused are Md Dudu Miah, 25, Md Morshed, 30, Md Rofu, 25, Md Jahangir, 25, Md Azad, 27 and Md Baccha, 25.
UNB says, two labourers- Didar, 25, and Amir Ali, 40, and Atib, 8, of the area were killed when a chunk of mud suddenly fell on them on Saturday while removing slope soil from a hill at Dakkhin Rajanagar area of the upazila.
