Forest officials seize timber worth Tk 5m in Khagrachhari

Forest officials in a drive seized timbers worth Tk 5 million from a forest in Dighinala upazila on Thursday.

Harunur Rashid, an official of the Naraichhari range, said a team of forest officials with the help of BGB members conducted a drive in Noapara and Morapra areas in the deep forest and seized 380 pieces of timbers worth Tk 5 million, reports UNB.
