Mobile schools launched in Magura town

Mobile schools have been launched in Magura town with the slogan, 'study will not be stopped for coronavirus' thanks to the noble gesture of a student front.

As educational institutions are now on vacation due to outbreak of corona, students are being deprived of learning. In this situation mobile schools launched in the district will serve the students with imparting education.

Samajtantrik Chhatra Front, Magura district unit, is running the mobile schools. Initiallly mobile schools are being run in four areas of Magura town namely-- Dohar Para, Judge Court Para, Nanduali and Mollah Para for class 5 to class 10 students.

Teachers will teach in the schools free of cost. A total of four subjects - English, mathematics, science and ICT will be taught in these schools. Students from poverty- stricken families will get preference to read in these schools.

Contacted, educationist Prof Habibul Hasan told this correspondent when students, especially children, remain out of school for a long time, their eagerness for learning may fade away.So, mobile schools amid outbreak of coronavirus is an appreciable initiative, he added.
