The rail communication between Mymensingh and Bhairab resumed after four hours of suspension due to the derailment of a goods-laden train at Bakainagar in Gauripur upazila on Sunday noon.
The tracks were cleared around 12 pm, said Abdul Hannan Farazi, officer-in-charge of Government Railway Police (GRP) in Mymensingh, UNB reports.
Four compartments of a slipper and stone-laden Chattogram bound train veered off the track near Gauripur Railway Station at 7:30 am.
