Pabna bus crash death toll rises to 4

The death toll from a head-on collision between two passenger buses in Pabna’s Santhia Upazila has risen to four, including a driver and an assistant.

At least 25 passengers from the two buses were injured in the crash, several of them in critical condition, police said.

The accident occurred around 7:30am on Tuesday on the Pabna–Dhaka Highway near the Sholbaria Bridge of Madhpur under Ataikula Police Station, according to Mustafizur Rahman, chief of Madhpur Highway Police Station.
