Employees of Palli Bidyut Samity (PBS) have started an indefinite strike in front of their respective offices across the country.
Local news portals said they called the strike to press home their 16-point demand. Their demands include bringing an end to discrimination in wages and other benefits.
Despite the strike, the agitating officials said in a statement, they have ensured smooth power supply. But other services remain suspended due to the strike.
