A police constable apparently committed suicide by hanging himself in Dinajpur on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Ataur Rahman, son of freedom fighter Amir Hossain, a resident of Sheikhpura area of Dinajpur Sadar.
Kotwali Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Motaleb said the exact reason for the suicide couldn’t be identified yet. However, he was mentally traumatised us after an motorcycle accident six month ago.
