Police recovered the throat-slit body of a man in Sirajganj on Tuesday.
The body is believed to be of Sumon Sheel, 30, son of Nimai Sheel.
Local people of Bashbaria Natunpara in Shahzadpur upazila, spotted the body in the evening and informed the matter to police, said Khaza Golam Kibria, officer-in-charge of Shahzadpur Police Station.
Police then reached the scene and recovered the body, which was sent to a local hospital morgue for autopsy, according to UNB.
The law enforcers suspect that miscreants killed him by slitting the victim’s throat and dumped the body in the area. The reason behind the murder is not clear yet.
