Medicines, stolen from government hospitals, worth around Tk 10 million were seized in Bogura on Sunday morning.

Police said they raided a multi-storey building at Mofiz Paglar More acting on a tip-off.

"We seized a huge quantity of medicine from warehouses on the second, third and fourth floors," said SM Badiuzzaman, the officer-in-charge of Bogura Sadar Police Station.

Robin Trade International's proprietor Mizanur Rahman Robin, who owned the warehouses, was arrested, UNB reported quoting the OC.

"He had the medicines stolen from various government hospitals," the police officer said. "Robin used to sell these medicines to other pharmacies."
