The Government Railway Police (GRP) in Chattogram on Wednesday recovered bodies of two minor children from the roof of an inter-city train.
Identities of the minors could not be known immediately, reports UNB.
GRP personnel recovered the bodies and found another injured child while searching the roof of 'Subarna Express' after all the passengers got off from it, said Shahidul Islam, Officer-in-charge of Chattogram Railway Police Station.
The bodies had injuries on their head, he added.
Quoting the injured, the OC said five children climbed on the train's roof at Dhaka's Airport Station and all of them were having fun by jumping on the running train.
When the train arrived at Feni Station, the children were hit by a foot over-bridge there while two of them fell from the train and two others died, the OC added.
The injured was rushed to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital and the bodies were sent for autopsy, the OC added.
