Sea truck commercially launched on Cox's Bazar-Maheshkhali route

The much-awaited sea truck service named 'ST Bhasha Shaheed Jabbar' was inaugurated in Cox's Bazar on Thursday.
It was officially launched on the Cox's Bazar-Maheshkhali waterway after the success of the trial run.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Labour and Employment Adviser Brigadier General (Retd) Dr M Sakhawat Hussain and Professor and writer Salimullah Khan.
The sea truck with a capacity of 250 passengers will operate three times a day. The truck will leave Cox's Bazar at 8:30 am, 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm. And it will leave from Maheshkhali at 7:30 am, 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.
