Three people have been killed after a head-on collision between a local three-wheeled passenger vehicle, locally known as a Mahindra, and a lorry in Khulna’s Dumuria Upazila.
Four others were injured in the incident that occurred around 11:00 am on Saturday near Golna's Dumuria Fire Service Station on the Khulna-Satkhira Highway, according to Md Masud Rana, acting chief of the local police station.
The victims have yet to be identified, bdnews24.com reports.
Police said the lorry carrying oil was en route to Chuknagar from Khulna when it collided with the Mahindra approaching from the opposite direction.
The injured were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment, police said.
