Two motorcyclists were killed as a passenger bus knocked down their motorcycle in Kalihati upazila of Tangail district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Ismail Hossain, 55, and Masudur Rahman Mojumder, 54. They used to work at a NGO.
Sub-Inspector at Bangabandhu East Thana Liton Mia said the accident occurred in Bhuapur Link Road area on Tangail-Bangabandhu Setu Highway, leaving them dead on the spot.
The bodies were sent to Tangail General Hospital for autopsy. Police seized the bus.
