A worker fell into the Dhaleswari River and went missing after two launches collided at Munshiganj Ghat of the Munshiganj district on Sunday, reports UNB.
Safiul Islam, senior station officer of Munshiganj Fire Service, said the Chandpur-bound launch Bogdadia-9 collided with Jamjam heading for the southern region at around 10:30 am.
Under the impact of the collision, the worker of Bogdadia-9 who is yet to be identified fell into the river and went missing, he said, adding that firefighters launched a drive to rescue the missing man.
Both the launches left for their destinations after the accident.
