Two minor siblings drown in B’baria

Two minor siblings drowned in a pond of Golsar village under Kasba upazila in Brahmanbaria on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Tamim, 7, and her sister Nazmin, 5, children of Billal Bhuiyan of the village.

Locals said the duo was playing near their house in the morning and at one stage, they slipped into a pond unnoticed, reports UNB.

Locals found them floating in the pond, rescued them and took them to Upazila Health Complex, but the on-duty doctors declared them dead.
