Three people, including two SSC examinees, were killed after a Natore-bound truck hit their motorcycle in Rajshahi’s Puthia.
The accident took place on a road in the Upazila’s Tarapur around 9:30am, bdnews24 reports quoting Puthia Police Station OC Sayedur Rahman.
The deceased have been identified as Rakibul Islam (16), Mustafizur Rahman (17), and his father Abdul Momin (40). Both the examinees were from Puthia PN High School, according to a UNB report.
The three were on their way to an examination centre from Puthia Sadar to Baneshwar when they were hit by a sand truck speeding from the opposite direction. The truck drove away and all three died on the spot.
The fire service recovered the bodies and took them to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital after being informed by locals.
