Speakers of a seminar on Tuesday urged government bodies, NGOs, and the civil society to work together in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The seminar on the progress of the implementation of SDGs was organised at the Manikganj Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium by the Manikganj District branch of the Association of Development Agencies in Bangladesh (ADAB).
The event was presided over by ASM Nurul Alam, district president of ADAB, while Muhammad Sirajul Islam, assistant director, STEP NGO, moderated the programme. Shamsunnahar, Sadar Upazila Youth Development Officer, attended as the chief guest, and A.K.M. Jashim Uddin, director, ADAB, was present as a special guest. A keynote paper was presented by Md. Nurul Amin, divisional coordinator, ADAB Dhaka.
They stressed that sustainability requires government support, policy-level cooperation, and active participation of local communities.
