Worker dies in Chattogram factory fire

A worker was burned to death as a fire broke out in a paper mill in Kalurghat BSCIC industrial area of Chattogram city in the early hours of Saturday.

The dead man was identified as Arman, 19, a worker of Asian Papers Mill.

Abul Bashar, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon Police Station, said that the fire broke out in the paper mill at around 4:30am.

Fire fighters after some effort managed to brought blaze under control and recovered the charred body of Arman from the factory, reports UNB.

Officials are working to find the cause of the accident.
