Youth found hanging in Cox’s Bazar hotel

A young man was found hanging at a residential hotel in Kolatali Zamzam Hatchery area of the district town on Sunday night.

Police recovered the hanging body of Nezam Uddin, 33, son of Anu Miah of Paschim Baharchhara in the town.

Nezam checked in at room No 105 of Hotel Sea-Afrin around 10 pm on Saturday, reports UNB.

Getting no response from the room, the hotel authorities informed police about it, said Nezam's relative Saiful Islam quoting the hotel manager.

Later, police broke open the door around 8 pm only to find the youth hanging from a ceiling fan of the room, said Mainuddin, Inspector (Operations) of Sadar Police Station.
